If I’ve clicked on “reply” to a post either by mistake or changed my mind about replying how do I delete it before posting it? It’s probably one of those obvious things but I can’t seem to figure it out . . . I seem to be having one of those age related neural blockages!

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
I will not post until you actually hit 'post reply', it is just a draft saved in your browser only. Either ignore it or select all text and delete it. BC SY

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Also, if you select all text and delete it, it seems that you must wait awhile until the new (blank) version is saved. If you leave before that happens, it hangs around. However, as stated, it is not published until you hit "Post Reply"

Thank you for your help . . . I’ve deleted the text as suggested but I was looking for a way to cancel the “reply block” as it is still there below all new subsequent posts on the thread.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The reply block is always there at the end of each thread.
Thanks! I deleted all the text, refreshed the page, and now it’s as it should be without the original quoted text. Panic over:)

Jill, if 81 happens to be your birth year, you are not yet officially old enough to have "age related neural blockages" or "senior moments," as those of us on the south side of 50 call them.

I allow myself one such oopise each day. If A second occurs, I get very annoyed with myself. However, if a third one occurs, I just call it a day and go back to bed...

Be patient with yourself. Celebrate your lunacy. Enjoy the journey...

You are very kind.:) No, I’m definitely not from ‘81 but well into that qualifying territory of the “south side”.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
We then welcome to the sunny south side. I like to wear a smile all the time and confuse everyone who sees me...;)

Then again, where I live, it is sunny every day:cool:

Bon chance!

I started my first Camino in 2013 when I was 59, and finished it when I turned 60. While that sounds dire, the fact is that I started in late April, with the intention of being in the Cathedral to celebrate the first half of my life as I turned 60...I was trying to be very optimistic.

I arrived nearly a week early, but was there in early June, at the noon Pilgrim Mass. They even used the Botafumeiro...how fitting.;)
