Can't stop thinking about walkin'

Time of past OR future Camino
2018
I had really hoped to walk Via de La Plata this spring. Then I got an opportunity to join a small group of motorcyclists riding over the Pamir mountains in Tajikistan on the Silk Road next year, in 2020, and prudently thought I should save my money for that and postpone my walk until the year after. This is probably what will happen but I CANNOT stop thinking about a camino walk this spring. I feel like I need to step out on the trail and walk some distance every day, from point A to point B, sleep on a bunk bed, then the next day, walk point B to point C until I have covered a long distance, mostly walking alone. I am craving this. So we will see if I can work it out somehow....

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

You only live once...& now is all we have for certain.
If you can manage both, go for it.
It is said in life we regret the things we didn't do more than the things we did.
What if you didn't walk this year & then next years trip doesn't eventuate? How would you feel then?
Both your trips will be amazing.
Scratch that itch...it's not going to go away.
And of course, you're in totally the wrong place if you're looking for people to tell you NOT to walk!! 😂
Keep us posted on what you decide.

If at all possible do both.

Maybe a wee dander of a camino.

Go.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I say go for it!! However I know what you mean. I miss the Camino but this year I’m taking another trip elsewhere.. but hoping to go back to the Camino in 2020! Buen Camino!
