Hi Peter
Well I haven't really sorted my gear. Is there anything you are selling?
I'm going to a workshop this weekend to see what I need.

Good; I went to the one on the 3rd of March. Very useful and good discussions. Amazed how many people want/planning to do the Camino from the Cape area!
Please note - their advice to get the ultra light sleepingbag - not possible, all sold out, everywhere in SA.
When are you planning to go?
I am busy reducing my kit; going in 8 days time.

I'm going in June Pete. Yes I missed the last one so will catch the one this Saturday. I have no idea what to take or how much and I am a bit of an over packer so will need help. I'm also planning on travelling around EU so I need stuff - haa haa!

I will be back by early May. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I might also have some kit to pass-on.
Best to start hiking/walking now. Plus start to test equipment and do your R&D. See what works best for you!

Ooooooooo no, don't overpack. Except if you are as strong as an ox. Less is best and even lesser is better.
Enjoy the planning. :)
