Don't forget when you walk from Barcelos to Ponte de Lima to stop at casa da Fernanda in Lugar do Corgo Vitorino dos Piäes. Fernanda and husband Jacintho are such kind people.
We ended up in Santiago last week, walking from Ferrol (camino Inglès) and after finishing we are camping in Portugal. Today we went sightseeing in the town of Braga (beautiful by the way. Make a detour by bus if you are in Barcelos and are able to have time !)
On the way back tonight to our camping (we have our car and caravan with us ) we decided to say hello to Fernanda and Jacintho We had a good time there last year when we walked the caminho Portuges. They welcomed us like lost friends, we had to drink something ,sang together with their other 20 guests who are there now and they wanted us to stay !
We must come back to stay in their house so next saturday we will be there and stay overnight.
What a wonderful people ! Pilgrims you'll miss the best of the caminho Portuges at the Porto to Santiago leg if you just pass by !ImageUploadedByCamino de Santiago Forum1400795482.147140.jpgImageUploadedByCamino de Santiago Forum1400795506.923024.jpg

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Only a few days ago i sat in their kitchen...after a very soggy wet drenched dripping day of walking....through gorgeous countryside though...
Their hearts and kindness is warming in many more ways than one....
Thanks for the pictures albertinho...

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
We stayed there and had a wonderful time. They are great hosts so don't miss it.

It would be impossible to find a better albergue. Fernanda and Jacinta make everyone a member of their family night after night.

Lovely people. Since we have been there a week ago now, they sent us an email yesterday and asked us when we will come again. Next year I am afraid we are about to leave Portugal tomorrow.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Albertino, thank you for your pictures, I'm looking forward to staying at their place, it looks lovely!
