A new website has just been launched which shows a number of items from the Santiago cathedral museum in high-resolution images. There are also several themed slideshows with detailed explanatory text. Well worth viewing.

It would be nice if the church authorities could post similar of the newly-reopened Portico de Gloria.. unless they already have done so.

These images are gorgeous. What a treat to sit here at my kitchen table and walk through the museum at my leisure. And to think that in less than three weeks I will be there in person! (I leave for Spain Sunday ). I'll enjoy the museum all the more because of this.
