Central Portugal celebration of the Caminho Portugues Saturday, Oct 19

Camino(s) past & future
None yet; perhaps the Portugese (2021?)
Just checked into one of my local online news websites, from Tomar, to find this announcement (translated roughly):

"Registration is open for a 7.5 km walk, on the Camino de Santiago, which passes through the municipality of Tomar. The hike takes place on October 19, Saturday, gathering by the door of the Micha cloister (north wing) [of the Convent of Christ] and departing at 9 am for Casais. At 13:30 is scheduled to return to Tomar by bus."

So if you're in Tomar on the night of the 18th, and want local company on the first stage of the next leg, be up at the Convent by 9! (It's about a 20-minute walk uphill from most of the places one would stay, in Tomar.)
