My Cicereno guide to the northern caminos arrived today.

Nearly 400g

175X118X22MM

Enormous and heavy

Why didnt they just apply for the rights to translate and publish a German or french on.

Still, its mine now and I intend to make a little trolly and pull it behind me

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Why not photocopy to your desired size and pages you require? You can then discard the pages as you go.
Or even scan to a stick file and print off the pages as you require. (Although that might be a bit difficult on parts of the Northern Camino, so don't bank on it. (This could be a resrve, as with other documents you may need but don't want to carry. e.g. I had my new camera user guide electronically, pdf of passport etc. 8GB of stuff for less than 40 grammes. :)

We received our guide yesterday and are impressed. Considering that it equals about 5 of CSJ's guides to the same routes it isn't that heavy if you were taking them all. Lovely photos, maps etc.

Photocopying is expensive, cutting the book up might be better - although we don't want to do that.

There is more about this guide here http://www.caminodesantiago.me/board/el-camino-del-norte/topic4254.html

Our own idea is to write in updates to our older CSJ guides and enjoy this book while planning.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Amazon.com has a few errors there. It is a 320 page book, unless the US version is different. Also the Ferrol distance is 116kms not 87.

The write up on the amazon.co.uk site is much better.

I use Alltrails a lot here in the US, in Iceland, on the Via Podiensis and a bit on the CF. Will it be useful on the Norte? For example, people here say the "warm up" from Biarritz to Irun (or...
Last May I walked the first part of the Norte in the opposite direction, from Santander to Irun. Since I only had two weeks and couldn't reach Santiago anyway, I wanted to swim against the tide...
Tomorrow I fly to Bilbao to start my 5th stint on the Camino. I did the Frances in three parts (2016, 2017 and 2022). Last year I did the Portuguese from Porto. I did the first 200 km of the...
I thought I had this all figured out, but I have ended up with 2 train tickets from San Sebastian (I don't even know if it's the airport or the town) to Irun, instead of ONE that goes all the way...
