My father 10 years ago - Santiago. Now 70th wants to do another with me
Hi there,

My father and I plan to walk the camino this year for his 70th birthday (he is in great shape!). He did the Santiago camino for his 60th.

I'm trying to figure out how much people spent the least amount. I know that the accommodations are abit more pricy when going coastal. So we plan to do some coastal and some inland from Porto to Santiago.

If anyone could give me a idea between such money and such money that would be fantastic!

Really looking forward to it!!

Thanks,
Hanna

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Hi Hanna - sounds like a great idea :)

You can see prices in the sheet here https://www.caminodesantiago.me/com...df-route-portugues-route-monacal-coastal.404/ as part of the accomodation list.

My experience was that in most of the residensials/hostal/hotels, the prices for two pilgrims for one night was between 25-45€. Having walked the Camino Frances and the Camino Coastal I'd say the prices are very similar...Spain was a bit more pricey than Portugal.

Hope that helped a bit!

I agree with Christian, I did the CP coastal last year and the CF and the prices are very similar.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
