We crossed the river fron Cominha to A Guarda on Thursday June 30. Caught the 1500 ferry which left on time. However our fellow travelers were behind us and missed the ferry by five minutes. Although there were scheduled crossings at 1600 and hourly thereafter, for some reason they were all cancelled "until tomorrow". Our friends had to call Mario (351-96-341-2659) who ferried them across in his fishing boat. Mario was a savior!
