Compostela

For my 10th and final Camino en bici, I would like to make it easy. The question is, does anybody believe that a documented beginning in A Coruna. direct to Finisterre, and terminating in Santiago would get me a Compostela? I calculate that it would be about 210 Km.

Is there any way that could find this out for sure?

Google maps calculates it at about 150km, so you might have a hard time documenting it with the Pilgrim Office. They may be leery of circuitous routes that would make it 200km. ;)

Hi larryflo, I checked our journal and we cycled 148 miles (about 240km) from Santiago to Finisterra and on to La Coruna. We stayed on small roads and tracks, thru Vimianzo (lovely castle) Buno and Leira. It would obviously be less mileage on the big roads that cut across but who wants to breathe fumes all day!!! As long as you get stamps along the way to show your route you should be fine. Buen Camino...

Plan to cycle between Burgos and Leon over three or four days. Are there any interesting detours between these two cities that would take up a 4th day?
