Hi, walking the Camino Portuguese starting Lisbon 15 March 2022. Struggling to get confirmation that the albergue in Azambuja is/will be open then.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

@camino.ninja would be a good person to ask.
I see on Gronze that reservations are required, and mentions that there are also pensiones and a hotel there.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
It's not showing closed on Gronze:
You could phone them?:
Address: Rua Vitor Cordon, 69
Locality: Azambuja
Telephone: +351 914 103 807

Having said that, it's always been closed when I've been through! (Three times)
I've always stayed at the Ouro Hotel:

Hi @trecile and @Walkingboy ,

The albergue in Azambuja is supposed to to open on March 15. I know José Luis who runs the albergue in both Alpriate and Azambuja had problems getting volunteers last year because of travel restrictions for the volunteers who were supposed to stay there. But if that is fixed he is supposed to open March 15 2022.

Until March 1, and longer if the pandemic continues, you can see what is open on https://camino.love/lisboa - and the Camino Ninja App is updated all year round on what is open and closed on the Camino Francés and the Caminhos Português.

@trecile "Admite reserva" just means "Accepts reservations" :)

It's a new albergue. The municipal closed last year and Jose Luis who has the albergue in Alpriate opened an albergue next door to the old municipal with the same name.

Do I need to bring my own pillow & pillow case for albergues?
Hi, Has anyone stayed in Armenteira recently? I’ve contacted Victor the Taxi to try and reserve a bunk at the Slbuergue de peregrinos. He told me to contact “ Albergue de San Ero de Armenteira”...
