Conques to Nice early mid April

Needing recommendations on best way to get from Conques to Nice, France early April. I've looked at the Compostel'bus and look like it may not be running back to Le Puy that early in the season. Yes I've looked at rome2rio but want some anecdotal advice from other Pilgrims.....
