Correos Paq Mochila Service - Ticketing multiple bags

I will be traveling with my family the Camino (5 family members including 3 children) and will be using the Correos Paq Mochila Service to travel our pass from albergue to albergue which I have already hired. My Wife and I wan't to concentrate our physical strength in helping the children move along the Camino and carrying them if needed.

I have a doubt on the ticketing process for the 5 bags we would be sending on the Correos service. I received a single tag in a PDF via email which I should print and attach to the bag. Maybe this is a silly question but should I print the same tag for every single of the 5 bags? Do I write the full itinerary (stages) on the tags or just the next stop and reserve online the next stage every day In case the plan changes?

Thank you!

Just to be on the safe side, I would make sure that each bag has a tag stating very clearly where it is meant to go, so I would print out 5 tags. I would also just put the next stage on the tag, to avoid confusion. Once on the camino you could ask friendly hospis or hotel staff what to do, but booking day by day is what most people do and seems to work well. Buen camino.

Yes, tag every bag.

I agree. Tag every bag with the next stage.

I used the service September 2022 and as I paid for the service with only my details for 2 X rucksacks I printed out the same tag for both rucksacks. If you omit the tag they will have no way of knowing which rucksack is yours.

Of note, if you are using locations where Correos collect and deliver then those locations should also have other types of tag for you to write on, including tags similar to those you will find attached to luggage at airports.

Also, keep in mind that once printed out, you will still need to attach it to your rucksack in a way that it will not fall off.

I used ziplock freezer bags with string push through a hole made with a scissor point.

If you have booked ahead you will already have multiple transfers on your confirmation, so no need to replace it on the rucksacks until it's reaching its end.

Anyhow, that's how it worked for us, your mileage may vary.
