OBSOLETE COVID THREAD COVID Testing US to Portugal - Walgreens NAAT

After many hours pouring over this forum and others as well as Official country (US and Portugal) sites, we're more confused than ever.

If you have SUCCESSFULLY entered Portugal with a NAAT test administered by Walgreen's please let us know how you managed to navigate the situation. There is a lot of confusion if Walgreen's/Abbott labs will be accepted. We're flying United in late April and mid-May.

Also do you KNOW if the VaultHealth saliva monitored test is accepted?

Most of the 'information' is rather opinion or referrals to websites which have conflicting data but if you KNOW or were SUCCESSFUL as above, please respond. I will edit as I/we find out more facts.

Here's a thread from the TripAdvisor Portugal forum in which several people have posted that they used the NAAT test from Walgreens to enter Portugal.

Answer 1 of 83: Searching the forum I found several mentions of a $250 rapid test for entry, but in the US these tests are free at CVS and Walgreens and you get the results within hours. Will Portugal accept a negative antigen test for entry? Thank ya very much

I flew from the US to Portugal in October and had my test administered at CVS, not Walgreens but I would assume they are equivalent. No issues whatsoever.

I am so glad you asked this! I have been scrambling around to try to get a test to go to Portugal and I scheduled my NAAT test for this weekend via Walgreens for my Monday flight, I hope everything goes well!

Hola! I read this and totally agree.

Did anyone provide a definitiva "yes" on Walgreens negative NAAT being acceptable in Spain?

Covid tests are not required as of today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?
