My wife must have left/lost her credencial in Palas de Rei yesterday (Monday 23 May).
It is full of regular stamps dating back to 4 May from St Jean.
Please, if anyone has found this (name Agatha Mare), let us know, either by email (emare@live.com), mobile no +61424535154 or this forum.

I'm sorry that happened! :( :( :(

I thought I'd write to tell you that in 2011 on my second Camino, I walked to the coast after reaching Santiago. Just as I was entering the town of Fisterra, I saw a credential by the side of the road. I picked it up and could see that it belonged to someone who'd walked the Camino Portugues. She'd already been to the cathedral in Santiago, so I guessed that she likely already had her Compostela and had walked on to the ocean as an extension. I tucked her credential into a safe place in my backpack, and after I got back to Canada I looked for her name (which was quite distinctive) on Facebook. I found her! Her profile picture was of her on the Camino, and comments on a few other photos visible to me made reference to stops on the Portugues (that matched up with the dates of some of the sellos). I felt like a detective! (Her home address in Madrid had been written on her credential but I couldn't make it out well enough to want to send the credential off without knowing for sure it would arrive.)

I sent her a message on Facebook and about 10 days later I heard back from her. I'd written that I would be happy to send the credential back to her from Canada once I had the address confirmed. I sent it off to her, she received it, and although it was a little while later I was happy she had it back again!

I hope that, or something even better happens for you and your wife. Maybe she will get a message on Facebook too. :)

Hi Rachel
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for your kind words. Although we never found the credencial with stamps, a few days later in Santiago I was able to explain that my wife's lost credential would have been identical to the one I still had and we both got our Compostelas. It was a great relief to her after 800km!
