Credencial query

Hello,
Starting mid-June 2018, my wife and I will be walking from Geneva to Le Puy-en-Velay, then down the GR65 to around Arthez de Bearn, where we veer off towards Bayonne, following the coast down to Irun. From there, we intend to follow the Camino del Norte (still debating whether to switch to the Primitivoat Villaviciosa) to Santiago.
We will be walking an average of 15km per day, finishing at the end of October.
My question might sound weird, but assuming I gather stamps at many of the stops, will I need more than one credencial? I have read somewhere that there are only 54 stamps spots on a credencial.

Ivar sells them for $2.00 (no Euro sign on my computer). I don't think there is any prohibition about having more than one.

Andrew, There should be no problem having more than one credential when you get to Santiago. I completed Camino Francés last year and it was fine when I presented two credentials to get my Compostela; I felt it made my pilgrimage most genuine.

You can find where to get a second along the Way by just asking around. Cathedrals, churches, museums and some albergues will issue credentials free or at nominal cost of a few euros.

The important thing, however, is to have stamps and dates from one credential to the next in order so it is clearly a continuation. And I suggest having the issuing official for any credential stamp and date the document in the first block.

Or you could do what I have done a couple of times and add an "insert". When I am getting low on spaces in the credencial, I have in the past just cut a piece of plain paper the same size as the credencial and stapled that in (for security). Some credencials have more spaces than others too. Buen Camino, Janet

As long as the last sello / stamp and dates in the first credential link chronologically with the first stamp in the second credential, you will not have a problem.

Thank you everyone for your replies. From the number of stages we'll be doing we might need 3 credenciales each.
I have ordered 2 each through Ivar, and we'll see how we go.
Am I correct that it's only on the last 100km (we're walking) that we need 2 stamps a day?
