Sorry if this has been asked before but I haven’t been able to find a previous thread - is it possible to purchase a credential in Zamora? Kind thanks in advance.
1) Go to Gronze
2) Type "Zamora" in the box "Entrar"
3) Click on the first link.
4) Among the list of albergues, search the ones where is written "Expiden la credencial" in "Servicios y equipamiento"
Miracle ! It is the case in the Albergue de peregrinos de Zamora !
That means that you can get a credential there.
Hi all!
I'm planning on walking for a couple of weeks from Seville. All the stages look manageable expect Stage 3 from Castiblanco de los Arroyos to Almaden de la Plata - it's too long for me to...
Hey everyone. My plan is to walk the VdlP from Seville to Santiago via the Sanabres commencing 10 April (plus or minus a day or two). This will be my 4th camino and I'm really looking forward to...
Hello All,
I am thinking to walk the VDLP in the next couple of weeks but am wondering if I have left it a little too late for this year. I am less concerned about daylight hours (clocks go back...
I’ve read in a few places that the typical pilgrim on the VDLP is an older European man. Not everyone of course, but this would be the largest demographic. Just wondering if that’s still the case or does it attract a broader demographic in 2024. For anyone that’s walked it in the past couple years - was there a wide variety of demographics in the pilgrims you met? Good mix of men, women, young and old? From all over the world?
I’ll be starting from Seville next month and curious how...
Hello All,
I am thinking to walk the VDLP in the next couple of weeks but am wondering if I have left it a little too late for this year. I am less concerned about daylight hours (clocks go back in a couple of weeks time) ... and not so worried about the weather, but was wondering when the albergues start to close up for the year.
If I left Seville on October 16th I would expect to arrive in SDC on about 22nd November.
Thoughts welcomed please.

Hi all!
I'm planning on walking for a couple of weeks from Seville. All the stages look manageable expect Stage 3 from Castiblanco de los Arroyos to Almaden de la Plata - it's too long for me to manage. I can't see any way to shorten it! Any suggestions?
Many thanks
Buen Camino
Hey everyone. My plan is to walk the VdlP from Seville to Santiago via the Sanabres commencing 10 April (plus or minus a day or two). This will be my 4th camino and I'm really looking forward to getting away from the "busy" Frances and Portuguese ones.
That being said, good company is always good! So if you think you may be walking the VdlP around the same time frame, feel free to drop me a line! (Mark from Canada)
