Hey

Did you know you can get a certificate for dogs from Santiago? I have been suprised as to how many hostel and albergue owners have never seen one before.

The wonderful charity APACA which is the Asociación Protectora de Animáis do Camiño creates these stunning little dog passports for 3€. You collect the stamps as you go and get a certificate at the end just like us 2 legged pilgrims do. My Spanish teacher's dog was the first ever dog to obtain one and will be meeting the pope himself anytime soon!!! How lucky am I to have met this stunning dog, sometimes fete has a funny way of presenting itself.

I think its important to share and support this charity. It not only helps peRRegrinos get their compostellas and helps owners with safety and advice, but it helps lost dogs along the way and puts up warning signs to deter people from doing silly things like letting lost dogs follow them.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Yup... However, a certificate is given, not a Compostela; It is has not anything to do with, or is recognized by the Church. The animal certificate is a fun thing to have, nonetheless, and APACA is a wonderful animal welfare charity.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
With the subject of this thread what it is, maybe the threads title can be changed to PerrOgrinos :)
