I received my credentials, and they are in Spanish. Is there an english translation?
I read that the last 100 km requires 2 stamps a day. What is the reason for this and
must it be in 2 separate locations, i.e. town/village, or in 2 different offices for stamps?
I am confused.

You seem to understand the translation already. But you can copy it and put it into google translate (Spanish to English) to ease your anxiety level.

The general opinion about getting two stamps per day during the last 100km is to help prevent someone from getting a couple of stamps, moving on in a taxi or their tour bus and then showing up at the office for their Compostela. Probably 98 percent of the Peregrinos are honest and walk the whole way.

It is pretty easy to get two stamps. They are fun to look at when you get home. I try to get more than two a day but that is just me. If you get one where you spend the night and another one where you take a break during the walk, you easily will have two.

Normally, the volunteers preparing the Compostelas for the Peregrinos in the Pilgrim office don't spend too much time looking at the passport. There is usually a long line and they try to help as many people as possible get through the process.
