Current Status of Restoration of The Cathedral

Hi fellow pilgrims,

I was wondering how is the current status of the restoration of the cathedral? Is there still scaffolding covering the church? Can anyone show a current pic of the church?

The external cleaning has been completed and the scaffolding is down. See the following post from Ivar (Camino Forum Administrator):

It has been reported on this forum that scaffolding is now inside the cathedral as the cleaning & restoration has moved to the interior.

do you know when the interior work will be done and regular services (including the botafumeiro) will resume? I assume by next spring 2019 so as not to impact high season traffic - but wanted to find out as i'm looking to go back next year.

The pews have been removed, there is scaffolding in the nave, and the botafumeiro has been removed and replaced by the "pineapple." Mass is held in the large side chapel.
