limited wifi and only my small phone so I am unable to go through forum and answer any questions till home, but wanted to share...
I am walking with five of my six children heading to Santiago with three days left on the Le Puy route.
Beautiful Camino
Most churches are open
Did the Cele Variant and loved it!
More asphalt than I hoped for
We are camping and have had no problems with finding spots to camp! Everyone that we have met, with no exception has been helpful and supportive of camping in the wild, with recommendations of where to stay.
Finding a place to camp has not been a problem for us, I know this question is asked often.
Residents on this route have been fabulous!!!

Just spent a few hours reading you blog. Great stuff. I have walked many Camino routes and have done to what you are doing now. Le Puy yo St Jean then I used the gr 10 to get to Irun and on to Santiago (but not in one trip). Good luck to you all and will keep following you blog.

I love your blog - still busy reading, as I have only discovered it yesterday. It brings back wonderful memories.
Those smiles of your children!!!! Too adorable for words. Bon chemin.
