Dropped into see David today. He was busy! So many pilgrims on the trail. Sat a minute to get his 'take' on life which is always so refreshing.

Suzi is no longer there. David said she left in October 2016. Seems David is re-energized!

Spotted Davíd on el Norte in 2019 at Father Ernesto's place...he was taking a break but he seemed well. He was back at La casa de los dios last year in May. nice to chat to him yet again...interesting guy and glad I've bumped into him on all 3 Caminos to date.

Is it the david who got a donativo Paradise feast for pilgrims?

I stopped by last year and was taken by his generosity and relaxed way of providing for people being tired, hungry, thirsty and tired.

I'm not sure what a Paradise Feast is, but he runs a Donativo fruit / drinks stand just before Astorga.

What I meant was a resting spot with fresh fruits and drinks which is heavenly for tried pilgrims.
