Warm soapy water, garden hose and have a brush I scrub it down with. If there's any bugs, leaves, carcasses, crumbs etc it all comes out. Have done that with both my REI and Deuter packs. Hang them in the sun to dry and after drying I spray them down with a scotchgard type waterproofing spray. Let dry and store with the rest of my Camino gear. I have had the packs for years and have done that many times.</p></blockquote><p></p>
