A few kilometers after Comillas, just after the football stadium, as I walked on the tiled pathway on the left side of the road, there were two yellow arrows pointing to the road down to the left. The arrow pointing straight ahead was crossed out with a yellow X. The reason for this is that a bridge is being built, and it was not possible for walkers to stay on the route. The diversion is for about three or four kilometers, through beautiful countryside. It brings you back on the route near Tejo. That was on May 16th. Other walkers had got this information from the tourist information office in Comillas, and also from an albergue somewhere before that. Just check it out in case the diversion is lifted when the works are finished.
