On the Le Puy route i have friends who are based after Cahors who watch every word said about their Gites and have helped pilgrims on this forum.
Recently i have been told that Albergue owners on CF do not have assess to reply to comments made on this forum.
Is this true?
Do owners who **reply ** to comments made on Tripadvisor or like wise have NO access to this forum ?
Or are they barred as Business owners ?
This question relates to a subject on Bad Albergues.
In fact the Bad Albergue /Casa was over 40 euros /night [ private or communal rooms ]
Is an OP wrong when paying over 45 euros a night in have a negative opinion on a property ?
Remember the Owner has replied to others on another forum.
Is the OP being unfair ?

Anyone can join and participate on this forum, business owner or otherwise, what is not allowed are business owners who join just to promote their own businesses. There are several business owners who are members and who participate with helpful advice and information and just join in like the rest of us so I think whoever is giving you your information is misleading you.
The "Bad albergues" thread to which you referred is locked and will not be reopened on this thread.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
