Do I Need A New Camino Passport?

Time of past OR future Camino
Francais, Portugues, Primito, Via de la Plata (currently planning Francais again)
I have walked several of the Caminos. Last year I walked the first ten days of the Via de La Plata. This year I am going to walk a stretch of the French route - starting at Burgos - with a friend (I have done the whole of the French route before, but it is her first time). Question: can I simply use a new page on an existing camino passport, i.e. the one I had for the Via de Le Plata last year (it has the stamps from that walk but lots of free space), or do I have to get a completely new camino passport for the French walk? Thanks in advance.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Use the old one. The spot for a Compostela may be stamped, but you can still use it to stay in albergues.
Thanks. My main worry is that the front page is filled in with the details (starting point, etc) relating to a different route. But if you reckon it'll be okay, that'd be good news. :)

I did it when I started the cf for a week in sjpdp. And then returned a year later and started again in tricastella to sdc. Got a compostwlla fine and a distance cert for the whole 755km!!! Don't know how that happed though only spotted it afterwards. There was no issue with my passport

I used the same passport for the last two years with no problems. I am about to use it for the third year so hopefully no issue with that either.

I have always assumed that each pilgrimage required its own credencial. If there was an interrupted pilgrimage (i.e., you were taking two years to finish it, or had to stop for one reason or the other, and were continuing), then the same credencial could be used over that period to finish that pilgrimage). Otherwise, fork out for a new one. They're not that expensive.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
I am.using my pp from the one week on the VDLP to the CP. Already had it stamped.in Porto, no worries. Just started a new page.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

I don't think it matters to use one from another camino, but it's very satisfying to pick up an old one and carry on, so I have always kept separate ones for 'unfinished business'.
