My favorite candy on the camino were the assorted hard candies labeled mente, coco, pina, anis, naranja, miel, etc. I can't find them on the internet, but I'm not sure I'm searching the right thing. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and have any hints on how to find them in the US or online?
Thanks,
Kelly

Thanks, but no. They are individually wrapped hard candies, and ones that I've never seen anywhere but in in Spain. I don't remember them having a brand. They were sold either in bulk or in a clear plastic bag.

I would like to find "melon." That's all it was called; dark green rind and pale green on the inside. If my eyes were closed I would have sworn that it was honey dew melon. Great with ham slices. I would love to find it in that States.

What are your favorite restaurants, bars, hotels, inns, etc on the Camino Frances NOT in albergues please? Gracias.
Yes, pardon me. So I've just read this cool article about the closing of the Puerta del Perdón in the Monastery of Santo Toribio for the holy year (and it is a very beautiful peurta for sure). It...
