Hello! I will be walking the Camino Portuguese starting September 6. After reaching Santiago, I am planning to spend a few days in Madrid before going home, but I have been unable to find much online information about domestic air travel within Spain. Does anyone know if a covid test is required to fly from Santiago to Madrid?

Thanks in advance,

Sue

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Not for internal flights currently, but that could always change if they lock the country down again.

Ladyvyper-

I am flying from Madrid to Olviedo and my airline (Iberia) has a link as to what's required. I have no restrictions (except mask required), but this may vary from region to region or airline to airline.

Good luck and Buen Camino (Bon Caminho)-

Hi Sue
If you are planning to spend time in Madrid there is the option to travel by train from Santiago to Madrid. I believe that if it is not already operating then the high-speed link will soon be starting up.
Buen Camino

Hi Sue I don't know the answer to that but I have taken the train back to Madrid from Santiago and I enjoyed it very much. No security hassles and there was plenty of seats very affordable and relaxing. Enjoy your trip!!

By the time you have faffed about at the airport, and getting to and from the airports to your hotel, you may find that getting a train isn't a much longer journey? It's certainly a comfy, relaxing, interesting one on the train.
