So many Pilgrims when listing their experiences in Albergues , negate the donativo that they gave to the donativo Albergues -this encourages the 'Free' Albergue syndrome - hey Guys! - How much did you give?? - not pointing any fingers here :)

thanks renshaw! You are right about it.
I haven´t thought about iit before but now I have redone my listings now.

--- this is what I paid (at least, sometimes more) for the donativo:

bed and shower 5E
dinner 6- 8 E
breakfast 2- 3 E

And I hope that all the nice albergues on the donativo base will survive!!!
And I hope they can afford to maintain and fix the buildings!!!
Otherwise they maybe have to have fixed prices or close down.

buen camino

I still have sweet memories on the donation-box in Granon.
The writing on it:
"Leave as much as you can miss,
Take however much you need"

This is the spirit me must preserve - Granon , Tosantos,

and what about Villamayor de Monjardin - I HEAR THAT THE ROOF HAS GIVEN IN??

We should have a fund to preserve our special Albergues.
