Early-House in Santiago?

If I was ever to walk the Camino again (walking SJPdP to SdC since 7 Sept) I would ensure it does not class with Ireland playing in the Rugby World Cup, particularly when they're actually playing fantastically well!
Lesson learned.
Every morning in nearly every town along the Camino Frances there are pubs open early to offer breakfast to the weary pilgrim. But in Santiago I don't imagine the pilgrims are getting up too early. Are there any pubs that you can think of specifically, or even are there likely to be any pubs open in general, in Santiago by 7am this Saturday?
The Ireland vs. Wales match is being shown live on CANAL+ DEPORTES from 7am. Are bars likely to have that channel?
Any advice gratefully appreciated as always!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Seeing as I have lived in Europe for the past six years and my home football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, keeps showing up in the SuperBowl, I have gone on the great search for TV coverage a few times!

First option is get a room at a really posh hotel, aka Parador, that has all the TV channels. Barring that, the best bet anywhere is an Irish Pub, and there is at least one in any size city. They always have the satellite dish, etc. and stay open all hours for sports events. In Santiago de Compostela I recall a Molly Malone´s over in the Alameda. Give a call or email and let them know you want to see that match, they might just do a "lock-in" for you if you agree to drink a certain number of pints...

Works for me.
Don´t ask me how I know about Irish pubs in Santiago...

Hi Brian and Rebekah,

I'll be thinking of you both as I watch Ireland play thier way to victory tomorrow morning, and I hope that you will both be watching too.
