Easter 2022 in Santiago

Finally making a trip to Santiago de Compostela for Easter. While I won't be walking the Camino, looking forward to experiencing such a special celebration during the Holy Year.

What time do you have to arrive to get a seat for Easter mass in the cathedral? Do you need a pass like the Vatican?

Only spent a day in the city after our Camino in 2013. Will be in the city for a week this time. Any recommendations for other things to do during Easter? Sightseeing, day trips, etc.

Here is a thread that has some ideas (not specifically about Easter). It was written a year ago when we could only reminisce and hope.

It would be great to hear more about Easter plans in Santiago for 2022. I wonder if the events will be back to their usual level, after 2 years of restrictions.
