Young Europeans from twenty European countries will attend the pilgrims undertaking the Camino de Santiago in Galicia from May to September next year. The program, funded by the European Union, will provide multilingual volunteers shelters, which will facilitate the stay of pilgrims staying in them. Volunteers will conduct a pre-language immersion course and then receive specialized training in history and characteristics of the Way
For this, a group of young people from 19 European countries will participate as volunteers next year by paying attention to pilgrims in twenty languages, which is the first time that international volunteers are part of this event. The European Union this week approved funding of 174,000 euros to launch this project.
Participants will come to Galicia in April to work in shelters for pilgrims during the months of heaviest traffic of the Holy Year, a time that will advance their education and ensure multilingual attention.
After arrival, participants must attend a two weeks compulsory language immersion course and then receive specialized training in history, meaning and characteristics of the Way and the pilgrimages to Santiago. In the last week of April, volunteers will visit the French Way from O Cebreiro (Lugo), to complete their training.
Subsequently, volunteers will travel to shelters for pilgrims of the French Way in the Galician section, during the months of heaviest traffic-May to September, and cooperate with those responsible for these facilities for the pilgrims relief efforts and dissemination of path.
In October, participants will again focus on Santiago, where they will be assessed and classified the artwork that each of them gathered in his stage, with which it will prepare a video documentary, an exhibition and a publication on their experience.

For now, the General Directorate of Xuventude has already contacted 25 associations from Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Malta, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom and Romania. This action will join the rest of the Jacobean Volunteer programming, which is finalizing the regional government and they expect to be completed for submission in the 2nd half of December.

English being not one of them. Clearly this passage written is not by some person understanding of syntax in the English. :D

Just out of interest, what was the source, Sil?
