Camino Frances, The Jakobsweg
And it is for us to grow old and fade into the backround.
All passions finally burnt or withered 'way
And we smack our lips at the memento mori of what life tasted like
Sap and green leaf sprung over seasons untold
We rose to the task,to the road ...for times unfold! and we must take whats given...and give back whats taken.
Wine is for drinking and walk is for thinking...or forgetting
Dregs in the bottle and walk full throttle into the next memory
Friends of the wine and stiffen our spine boys,we must make the next town by sundown

There are those that fear the forest for the trees
The mountains for the hills
And the time for the box it comes in...

The fiddler is playing in the plaza and the host is waiting open armed for all his friends to come
And from the compass rosette the come joyfully
Walking slowly the heavyness dissapears
And the meaning comes clear when it ends
And if nothing ever changed
And nothing ever ends
We will come again

And the words are counted steps
Change your path and purpose and meaning
Or just become numb again

Celebrate the cycle and walk on to the end
And the begining

The host awaits with baited breath in pavestone plaza and the fiddle plays and people listen and they walk west....

Y El dice..Te espero por siempre,no mas viene.

I'm looking for the best app to use whilst walking on the Camino. Usually I just rely on my Apple watch but I'm leaving that at home, so need an app use that I can pause at rest stops etc...
Everyone talks about the wonderful café con leche, but what if tea is more to your liking? Can you even get tea along the Camino (Frances)? I don’t drink coffee but my morning cup of tea is...
