I know that this has been posted a few years ago but I put it up again for those who have not seen it and for those preparing for the journey.
Created by Maria & Javier from their year 7 pilgrimage from Roncesvalles it is simply a series of black and white stills but with the most wonderful Galician music.
I see places I remember, I see a ruin I tried to sleep in, a fork in the road where I went right instead of left and wandered for miles, completely lost, more than one church I prayed in, a church where I cried because I thought I had come to the end (I am partially messed up from an old motorcycle accident and my right knee sort of shouts at me and gives up now and again, especially if I work it too hard for too long) ... and the music just clings and goes deep - there is a point in this where the music swells and there is an image of pilgrims walking against the wind and the rain - and at this point I just choke up, every time. I don't know why but for me this brings back the emotion of pilgrimage. It may not be the same for you - who knows, but I absolutely love it, so I thought I would share it on here again..
Sound up high now!

p.s. when you start the clip you will have to X the annoying ads at the bottom - sorry.
Or if you click to play and then click on the clip again you will go to U-tube and a larger screen.
