English Guide through Vigo

Time of past OR future Camino
Frances, Portugues, Norte
I can only find Brierly's guide which takes you from Porto to Tui or Vlenca and then rejoins the inland. I believe there is a route that hugs the Coast through Vigo. Does anyione know of an English guide or map for this route?

The latest 2015/2016 issue of Brierley gives information about the coastal route .
However in Vigo you can follow yellow waymarkers .head for Redondela and you get out of town and can continue your caminho to the central route in Redondela.

I have not walked the coastal route, not yet anyway, but I have always thought this map (included in one of Mig's or Johnnie's links) was the most helpful to let you see the options and the places where the caminos merge, diverge, etc etc.

Yes. But Vigo has a complicated infrastructure. The best isto head for the citycenter. Nearby the center is an area with lots of hotels, hostals etc. There is no albergue .
A good manner to find your way out of the city direction Cabanas and Redondela is to walk to the downtown area and the railwaystation and stay around the railway northwards .

I walked through Vigo once - it is easy. Just follow the signs. Not complicated at all. Follow the signs.

As Alberthino wrote - I have the 7th edition (2016) version and there's a guide through Vigo in it.

Or - (shameless plug) - you could follow the route from the GPS coordinates from this one - you'll find them on the sheet "Version and info"

I've just done this camino again today and its easy to follow the yellow arrows from Matosinhos, Porto to Redondela etc on the official Coastal Route. So for example for the stage from Baiona to Vigo just follow the yellow arrows through Vigo as Annie says. I would not suggest you just go through Vigo to Redondela on the roads, stick to the camino. By all means visit places of interest there but rejoin the camino to do next stage to Redondela etc.. I downloaded pdf maps of Caoastal and Shoreline routes from Luis Freixos's Blog onto my smartphone which you can access offline you open in My Files Folder search in Documents, doesn't use much battery either. You may also like the short article I wrote about the route see http://www.mydestination.com/galici...portuguese-coastal-way-from-porto-to-santiago Bon caminho.
