We're taking the train from Paris to Hendaye on 5 May and crossing the border into Irun, Spain to begin the Camino del Norte.
We will have our EU Locater but I know Spain has it's own entry rules. Does anyone know if we need to fill out Spain's FCS form to get the SpTH QR code? I believe you only need to fill out the FCS form if arriving in Spain by air or sea.
Likewise, has anyone encountered any problems entering Spain on foot. Hendaye to Irun, or St. Jean Pied du Port to Roncenvalles.
We're fully vaccinated from the U.S.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
No one will check anything as you cross into Spain by foot or by taxi/bus/train. The locater form is only for air travel (and probably arrival to the EU by sea - don't know for sure). That said - since you are vaccinated - bring your vaccination card just in case rules change while walking.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I entered Spain by ferry in Santander on Monday. I had to fill in a passenger locator form on the Brittany Ferries website before I left, and surprisingly this was for the British government, not Spanish. I had to show my covid pass to get on the ferry (where French law applies, so masks in public spaces unless eating), then I only showed my passport at the control in Santander port. No location forms to fill in for Spain itself.
