Do people book tickets and then not show up? Is it possible to just be in Sopron and head out on a standby basis?

We're booked to go in July...a little concerned about the heat...any comments?

People do book and not show up. Not sure about just showing up last minute.
It was hot at the end of July last year...35+ C. It is day light early and we would get up at 4-5 am and be off no later then 5:15am. Never before first light as the path isn't well marked. One never know what the weather will do so that is one of the biggest variables.
It is an interesting walk. Keep an open mind and open eyes for markers.
