Hope to do first Camino starting 22 September
I have an extra day - should I spend it in Logrono or Bilboa

I love them both, each for different reasons. If you enjoy big cities and the hub bub associated with them, then Bilbao is great, along with the spectacular exterior of the Guggenheim. I'd say Logrono is more laid back, charming and relaxing...Both have great tapas!
 
Thank you for your replies. I will be staying overnight in Logrono on Sunday 22 September but won’t be flying out of Bilboa until Wednesday afternoon. Was going to go to Bilboa on Monday but should I stay on Monday and travel to Bilboa on Tuesday. I know nothing about either city. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
