hello dear friends
This time Camino Portugues is my choice
I have a very light sleeping so I prefer no to use large dormitories.
Will I find private rooms in albergues or hostales/pensiones in the Coastal?
It will be at the beginning of May 2018
Thanks for your information,
Roberto, the Jewish pilgrim.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I walked the Coastal in June from Porto to Pontevedra. BTW I snore. I found most place fairly empty and never heard any complaints. There are plenty of private places and inexpensive hotels, so no worry. I spent one night in a crowded public in Caminha because the ferry was not running for 2 days (believe it or not a beer fest that weekend) and was totally harassed in the morning for my snoring by some total a..h.... My response was next time you "find a room."

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Take a look in the resources section of the forum. There's a file called Sleeping on the Portugese.
From memory, none of the albergue we stayed in between Porto and Camina had private rooms. There's plenty of other options and a couple of private Albergue's that do I think.

We used Ohropax soft foam ear plugs, brilliant can't hear a thing while you sleep.

Buen Camino

Haven't done the Portuguese. I discovered on Frances a few Albergues that had single rooms for 'sick' pilgrims. Hope it works out for you. I now it's 10 days past, but hope you had a blessed Hanukkah season....

Do I need to bring my own pillow & pillow case for albergues?
Hi, Has anyone stayed in Armenteira recently? I’ve contacted Victor the Taxi to try and reserve a bunk at the Slbuergue de peregrinos. He told me to contact “ Albergue de San Ero de Armenteira”...
