I remember that once I have seen a youtube video of a Dutch guy who walked from the very utmost south west point of Europe, Cabo São Vicente to Santiago. At a certain moment he comes at the same point from where you are intending to walk in the Algarve. I tried to find it for you but did not succes until now.I will look further. As I am well informed this guy is/was a member of this forum to !

I am in training for the Oporto-Santiago section in September. My ideal would be the Via de la Plata,but i have to work and cannot take so much time.
