Sorry I can’t remember exactly ..... I just remember the feeling of euphoriaAnnie were these shots taken after leaving Atapuerca?
thanks, another lovely invitation to see things as others have seen them. So far, just a delight, a feast for the eyes, and the stories behind each one, not enough time to hear them all!Post up your favorite sunrise or sunset shotsView attachment 38157

Thank you @zrexer. It's a favorite and I use it as my blog page image. Stunning views at sunrise.Irenie, your picture of the steel pilgrim silhouettes on Alto del Perdon is absolutely outstanding. Brilliant capture!
@zrexer, I am really enjoying these threads you've started recently, each one honing in on a particular facet of Camino life! I think all of us who submit photos love having an incentive to look through our pictures to find personal favorites. The best part is we get to recall so many special memories as we browse through them, intent on finding the perfect one (s) to share.
Brilliant topic, @zrexer, for the Winter Solstice and the Season of Light.Post up your favorite sunrise or sunset shots. This shot is west of Sarria.View attachment 38157

Split disc reminded me of my split card. I went to take pictures at the church in Muxia and realized that my SD card was in the tablet back with Peg so I took out my previously used one with two months of pictures of Spain (about 4,000 of them.) The card had split. About a quarter of those pictures had a crude backup in the tablet (zoom, crop and screenshot) but those pictures weren't always my best. Was trying to capture a "green flash" after the sun's round disc sank beneath the sea, but it was not there. Was surprised to capture a split disc a few minutes earlier as shown.
I looked for a previous photo challenge thread but I couldn't find it. @VNwalking posted a picture of some trees along a ridge that was a near identical match to one I had and so a match this picture thread was born. When this thread "runs out" I have a couple of other ideas for more photo sharing.
Thank you, @HedaP, the light is magic at dawn and dusk.Wow, beautiful.
@Theatregal, stunning photos.Forest fires nearby gave us an eerie sunset in Baiona.

I did Camino October 16 ..... can’t bekieve it was a year ago and a frantic year it has been ..... so it was wonderful to put myself back in the Camino looking at the photos again@zrexer, I am really enjoying these threads you've started recently, each one honing in on a particular facet of Camino life! My new favorite is about the same place, heading up to the alto between Hornillos and Hontanas in late May last year. That morning there was a beautiful sun pillar, paired with the sliver of a rising waning moon.Hornillos del Camino sunrise, June 2, 2017
