Has anyone walked the camino del Norte Feb/March time frame? What were your thoughts? My camino begins Feb 25th and am still decided where to start or which camino to take, ie Frances or somewhere else. (Decisive as usual!) I expect there will be plenty of rain on the del Norte and have read some villages may be completely closed down this time of year. Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Most of the albergues on theNorte are only open June to October, so it may be difficult, even if looking at alternative accomodations as the coast is mostly catering to tourism.

Ok, that may be the decision maker then. Looks like Frances it is.
Thank you for your reply :)

Tomorrow I fly to Bilbao to start my 5th stint on the Camino. I did the Frances in three parts (2016, 2017 and 2022). Last year I did the Portuguese from Porto. I did the first 200 km of the...
I thought I had this all figured out, but I have ended up with 2 train tickets from San Sebastian (I don't even know if it's the airport or the town) to Irun, instead of ONE that goes all the way...
