Thank you for sharing your packing list, I found your comments on each item quite interesting. The Gregory Jade 38 is also my pack of choice. I hope you have wonderful Camino!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Thank you for a wonderful list with so much detail/comments!! I leave in 1.5 weeks for SJPdP and this is a good sanity check for my packing list. I also will be hiking with my Gregory Jade 38L pack.

A 38L pack seems awfully large to me.
I take a 28L Jade and have plenty of space.
I took a Gregory Juno 36. It was not nearly large enough due to the medications and continuous glucose monitoring devices. I did not pack extra clothes except for socks. But I wear two pairs and change them during the day.

Exactly, we all have different needs. I wouldn't say a 38 is too large at all, it seems to be around the average range from what I've seen. Lucky for us the market is saturated with enough choices to satisfy everyone. :)

Whilst I write from an inevitably male perspective others might want to consult an equally informative packing list which @spreadsheetdirtbags posted some time ago. I (personally) marvel at the difference in weight for an item sized for a petite female as opposed to mine which according to Mrs HtD could have been bought from a clown’s-outfitters.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

I don't wear make-up anymore. I don't like how it feels. When I worked as a manager in restaurants and a hotel, then I did, but for the last 16 years I haven't. Au Naturel for me.
My pack is just a tad over 6kg. without the water. I am 168cm and presently 78kg.

As we’re on a “ female” topic, I’m planning to take a bit of makeup. Lipstick, mascara and blush and some hair product.
Does anyone else take these beauty product luxouries ?
I will also be taking these items. Daily I fill in my eyebrows, pop on mascara and lippy and if I’m really living it up, dab on some blush! It’s just how I roll so walking the Camino will be the same daily routine. 🙂
