After all this time, I've finally become a donating member of this forum. I don't know why it has taken so long. This forum has given me so much valuable information, and friendship, since I first joined. I am ashamed that it has taken me so long to give this small token of my appreciation. Thanks, Ivar, and everyone who reads, laughs, cringes, etc., at the words (and few photos) I occasionally post.
This is one New Year's Resolution I can now cross off my list.

We are the hopeless, yet hopeful ones who seek solace and community with our fellow pilgrims. I always feel blue when I do not check in even just to see the forum traffic passing by. Getting liked or having helped someone does tend to brighten my day.

Sure is Alex, such a amazing bunch of Camino (friends/ family). Lots of likes, lots of care, lots of understanding each other, and sensitivity to each others needs, and so grateful for each others help and contributions.

In addition to being a worldwide learning resource for pilgrim wannabies, it has become a venting place for all of us who just want to repeat the experience. Again and again.

I have been part of this forum since before my walk in 2011 and I keep coming back, love it, from the beginners questions to the pro's comments, to the heartfelt sharing by this small group of ... friends.

You're all invited to my kitchen - you just have to show your credencial to get in. Ivar/staff and moderators, you get in for free!

While the Amigo Program will not be operating at least for 2015 (per a separate note from Johnnie) I will still be along some time this year, once my consulting stint is done. I owe you and your good lady a dinner as I recall. I ALWAYS make good on my promises. I will be back!
