Does anyone know if a credential for Camino Finisterre can be got in Santiago....and if 1 can where can it be got
Use a standard credencial available on the forum shop, the Santiago pilgrims office and many other places.

You get the appropriate Muxiana and Finnesterrana (if I’ve spelled those correctly it’s purely by chance) at the relevant tourist offices.

They have them at the Pilgrim Office.

You can get a credential from the Pilgrim's Office.
From the Galicia tourist office
I plan on walking to Muxia and I hope on to Finesterre (time permitting) after I finish the VDLP. I never knew there was a credential just for this route. I will pick one up when I go to the pilgrim office to get my Compostela. Thanks for this information. The credential looks pretty cool.

Well, if you don't mind getting a normal, black and white Fisterriana, you can use just a normal pilgrim passport. But if you want this one of a kind, colorful Fisterriana, you probably need a special colorful Muxia-Finisterre credencial from the Galician Tourist Office  🤔

I have one of these but it looks completely different when I walked in 2013. I used a regular credential and when I walked into town I think I got my Fisterriana at a police station. I can't really remember but I am almost sure a police officer filled it out. It was a while ago. I know they give one in Muxia too. I don't know if I have time to do the whole loop but if i have any time I will do the walk to Muxia as I have already done the other one.

I got this one in Finisterra municipal albergue 2 weeks ago. I didn't even ask for it, when I registered to stay for the night, the lady wrote my name on it and gave it to me. I remember the same thing happening in Muxia two years ago in a private albergue where I stayed. I don't think you need to go to the tourist office or police to get Fisterriana or Muxiana anymore, seems like albergues take care of it.

I just continued to use the credential that I started with in St Jean PdP. After Santiago I just carried on to Muxia and got a certificate there and then went on to Finisterre and got a certificate from the tourist office, all on the same credential.
