I am at Alburgue Alto de Pana, about 8 km past Negreira. It was a lovely walking day today and I loved the autumn colours in the woods on my walk today.I spent about 7 hours walking about 28 km.for the first half it was overcast but dry and then came the rain which was not heavy but drizzly. However it didnt dampen my spirits. There are about 8 staying in this alburgue which is an in between stages one. I think I say about 15 walkers today and about 20 on bikes past me. So far I am very happy with this way,it is beautiful .I enclose some pics

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

191931 looks like an impressionist painting... and what is in the pot? I say plums. Don’t tell, paddy! Let’s see how many guesses are near...

It’s pulpo

I’m not entirely sure why, but whilst I’m not a veggie I’m not a big fan of eating octopus.

I often knowingly transgress ‘Rule 2’ on here, the prohibition against discussing bullfighting. I always think of it as the ‘Don’t tell him, Pike’ rule for some reason. (If you're not a Brit aged over 50, you’ll never get that, but don’t worry); but surely I can break ranks and declare myself against octopus-eating?

Perhaps it’s that I don’t like the thought of eating something more intelligent than some of my family members? In the case of at least one of them, that could rule out lettuce on a bad day.

You meant Albergue Alto da Pena, I think.
The pic with the bridge on river Tambre is Ponte Maceira that is in the list of the 100 most beautiful villages/towns in Spain.

In relation to that albergue, that I know where it is, its name Alto da Pena means in Galician "peak of the rock" but in Spanish means "stop....it gives sorrow/pain". So yes this is what Spanish speakers read.
