This is my first post since I´ve started the Camino. It is as amazing as I hoped and more. The fellow pilgrims are very special people and me and my companions have made a number of friends that are still with us, behind, ahead and elsewhere in the world at this time. The weather has been perfect with a little rain the morning of Oct. 4th when we started and some in the evening in Logrono Oct 10th. Harvest is in full swing with passing farmers giving us some of there their fresh produce and blessings. I have had no pilgrim pains and no bed bug problems. My fellow pilgrims have not been so lucky. Estella and Los Arcos we reporting problems. Logrono was quarinting pilgrims from certain albergues. The only ill will I have experienced was last night in the municipal albergue in Fromista. We checked in, paid five euro, but upon inspection of our beds they had bed bugs. Four of us left and got our money returned, but the woman in charge was angry. Disheartening consdiring we were there only five minutes. Two other pilgrims had the same problem, but they refused to give their money back. The woman and one pilgrim got into an arguement I was told. The next day in Carrion they were refused at the albergue. We were accepted after them. Unsure what actually happened, but unfortunate.
