The dangers of Sunday night internet browsing and Camino dreaming .......... I spotted and booked a Vueling €14.99 (+€5 booking fee) fare from Asturias to London Gatwick for October. It lines up very well with an Easyjet flight from Gatwick to Belfast, making it a perfect return journey for us.
Our vague plan to walk the Norte in stages in 2017 & 18 is now a reality! I'm walking solo from Hendaye to Bilbao in May. We (Damian and I) will walk together from Bilbao to wherever in September/October and return in 2018 to walk some more.
