FM English radio and Cellphone-mobile questions

I'm leaving Monday May 28 and comments would be appreciated. I have a Sony Walkman MP3 Player with FM radio access. Can anyone tell me if there are any English language radio stations in the Sarria to Santiago area or coming in from an English speaking country. I am learning to speak Spanish but in no way fluent yet.

Has anyone tried the ready-to-use cellphones that are sold in supermarkets and other stores? Have they worked well? Anything I should know? Thanks.

.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hola - as far as I know there are no English language radio programmes available in Galicia. The BBC World Service is available but only on Long Wave

Ready to use phones are fine or you could simply get your own phone unlocked and buy a Spanish sim card.
