I think this is the same guy. Not sure but maybe.his name is Volkmar Hase.
I had some contact with a guy from Bremen Germany last year who walked the Variante Espiritual.
I don't think he is on this forum

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi. I just need to know how to get from the airport to getting my first stamp in Lisbon. Can someone let me know?

Ann Marie, welcome on the forum.
Your question is in the wrong subforum. This subforum is about the caminho Português Interior. This caminho does not start in Lisbon but in Farminhão nearby Coimbra, more than 270 kms away from Lisbon.

It could be that you land in Lisbon and want to walk the CENTRAL route from Lisbon to Porto and Valença do Minho/Tui to Santiago or want to do some sightseeing in Lisbon and then travel to Farmnhão ...? If you want to walk the Central route, read the posts on the main forum of the Portuese route.. Lot of information of thousands of experienced walkers who went before you.

Anyway...
Take the airportbus or metro to the center of Lisbon and walk to the Sé cathedral and inside at the right side after you enter is a desk where you can obtain your first "carimbo"' your stamp translated in Portuguese.
Bom caminho

Thank you. I am actually starting my walk from Tui but want to get my first stamp in Lisbon because I am told that Tui only takes passports with portugese stamps in it. I could be all wrong here too, but am going to wing it. Thanks again.
